Wheatie Bags

Limited Edition Wheatie Bag

Daffodil

Diary - Spring 2010

Hooray, the first signs of spring are here - the sun is getting warmer, the daffodils are poking through and the forsythia is just starting to bloom! Our chickens are pleased that the snow has finally thawed, they really didn't like it and refused to come out of the run and into the garden! They are now back to laying and have already started to go a bit broody! While they are busy being clucky on their nests, it will give me a chance to sew some grass seed - our lawn is in a shocking state after a wet soggy winter! I must also make some time for all those other spring tasks that need doing like sweeping up leaves and cleaning the windows (still it's a good opportunity to get outside in the fresh air!).

The fayres are set to start again after Easter and Wheatie Bags will be there along with Henny Penny sporting some new designs and fabrics for the season. Please keep an eye on the events page for more information and we'll hope to see you very soon.

Don't forget that the nights are still quite chilly - a warm Wheatie Bag can be a great comfort at bed time (save some money and keep that electric blanket turned off)!

With warm & toasty wishes x Zoë
