Diary
- Autumn 2009
It's my favourite time of year! The hedgerows
are laden with blackberries - great for pies and crumbles. We've
picked so many that our freezer is absolutely bursting!
With the change of seasons we have been
busy on the Island with our very first honey harvest from our
bees. We managed to collect 18 pounds - which we're pretty much
amazed with from our small colony. It's the most wonderful colour
of amber and has the most amazing flavour!
September saw our last fayre of the season.
We've had a great summer, it was great to meet so many customers.
Thanks to all those who came to see us. Hopefully we'll see
you again as the Christmas fayres draw closer. Keep an eye on
the events page for further details.
Remember, as the evenings start to turn
chilly, don't be tempted to turn up the heating - reach for
you Wheatie Bag and help save money on your energy bills!
Best wishes x Zoë
